Arċisqof Gonzi Avenue is the considered as the primary attraction in Kalkara and is situated opposite to the Sant Joseph, Parish Church. In May 2024, the Government together with the Kalkara Local Council has inaugurated this avenue and the promenade. The regeneration consisted of the redesigning of the avenue which includes a recreational area surrounded with a playing field, benches, and varieties of trees and shrubs.
