Ġnien Mark Farrugia

Tarxien residents are now enjoying a beautifully restored open space named in honour of Constable Mark Farrugia, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty in Tarxien in March 1999. This renovation has completely transformed the garden, introducing new designs, swings, and a 5-a-side football pitch. The Tarxien Rainbows will have access to the football ground for training nursery children, while it will also be available for other kids to enjoy their favourite sports at various times throughout the day.
