An underutilised site in the Għarram area of Ħaż-Żebbuġ has been transformed into the first dog park in the locality. Ġnien Għarram is thoughtfully divided into two separate areas, a public open space for general recreation and a dedicated dog park designed to allow dogs to exercise and play freely in a safe environment. The dog park is equipped with purpose-built play equipment, a shaded pergola, a pet drinking fountain, and designated seating areas with benches for visitors. The wider open space is landscaped with a variety of indigenous trees and plants that are well suited to environments shared with domestic animals, creating a welcoming and natural setting for both people and pets.
