More Information

Bengħajsa Family Park, once a transmitting field with visible pylons, is one of the largest parks in southern Malta, located on the outskirts of Birżebbuġa. Covering 17,000 square meters, it provides a green space for the community, featuring 4,000 trees, sustainable picnic areas, and informative boards about the local flora. In August 2024, Project Green announced plans to expand the park by 7,000 square meters, planting 140 new trees, installing recreational features like slides, and creating accessible pathways. The development will include public toilets, a security room, and use 100% permeable, eco-friendly materials, designed to enhance the park’s natural landscape.
