Xrobb l-Għaġin contains a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre within. The Centre provides shelter and rehabilitation facilities for injured wildlife, thus offering a sanctuary for their recovery prior to reintroduction to their habitats. It also includes a Marine Research Centre and an educational area for children and visitors while offering a myriad of learning opportunities about Maltese wildlife and its conservation. An experience of the site will engage learners into the concept, principles and values related to sustainable lifestyles.
The wheelchair accessible site offers unlimited outdoor learning holistic opportunities through play and interactive activities. Although BBQs are prohibited, picnics are allowed as long as patrons park outside the Park and walk in.
Sanitary facilities are available and pets are always to be kept on leash. The hostel can also be rented for specific events.
