The playground in Ħal Safi was given new lease of life through a regeneration project to modernize and make it safe for local children and others who visit. The playground was inaugurated on October 26, 2018. This project was carried out by the Ħal Safi Local Council with funds from the Planning Authority’s Development Planning Fund and additional funds from Malta Industrial Parks and Malta Enterprise. The playground includes an outdoor gym and has facilities accessible to children with autism and disabilities.
