Ġnien Santa Marija tal-Anġli

This open space, inaugurated in 2012 to serve as a recreational center for the growing community in the area and visiting families, is located next to the church courtyard and includes children’s swings. Recent renovations, beautification, and maintenance work have included several improvements. The central area of the garden, which was previously inaccessible, has been revamped with new paving, making it suitable for community use and outdoor events. The children’s swings were refurbished for safety, and new playground equipment was installed. New lanterns were added, and all light fixtures were replaced with energy-efficient alternatives, offering better quality lighting. A modern security camera system was installed throughout the area. Extensive maintenance was carried out on the safety fencing, including the replacement of parts where necessary. The wooden gazebos, providing shelter for visitors, were restored and maintained. Benches in the garden were repainted, and maintenance was done on the porphyry paving, as well as repairs and replacements of the rubber safety flooring in children’s areas.
